Buzhenina (baked pork)

2,2lb (1 kg) piece of pork;
0,5 cups water;
1-2 Tbsp butter;
1-2 Tbsp mustard;
2 cloves of garlic (chopped);
1-2 medium onion (chopped);
1 medium carrot (chopped);
1 medium bay leaf;
salt, pepper to taste

Mix butter and mustard. Smear the pork with butter and mustard. Wait for 2-3 hours. Sprinkle meat with salt, then lard with garlic. Put the meat into a dripping-pan; pour the water and place in a hot oven. After 15 minutes add bay leaf, onion, carrot into meat-broth. Pour the meat-broth over the meat periodically. Bake until ready (about 40-50 minutes).
